MXP 140

Aero-East-Europe aircrafts most polyvalent and exasperated airplane with STOL skills is MXP 140 which is designed with Junkers type blowed flaperons solution in combination with an Handley-Page slat inserted in an asymmetric biconvex type wing profile provided with edges winglets. The aircraft is created above all in order to maintain very good stability characteristics around roll axis (Y) and high cruising speed of 97 KTS (180Kh at the 75% of the power) despite a take off run of 30 mtrs and a landing run of 50mtrs with a Vso of 24 KTS (45 Km/h). Good cruising speed have been achieved through the optimization of a proper studied position of H-P in order to reach the best possible compromise of the aerodynamical action with regard of high angles of attack. Everything in the drawing has been studied in order to obtain very peculiar flight trims. All this is achieved through the twist angle of the wing producing, as a consequence, the characteristic levelled flight with a stable and slightly pitched nose position: there is an important increase of frontal visibility.
