SILA 450 C
AeroEastEurope produces and develops aircraft according to JAR VLA part 21 & 23 standards. The decision to invest in the development the new SILA series (Serbian Industry of Light Aircraft) led also to the lightest SILA 450C (MTOW 472.5Kg) specifically studied for the UL market.
This new all metallic high wing airplane has been quickly accepted in Germany since produced under JAR standards as every other aircraft of the SILA series. The mascot of the series is already certified in Germany in accordance with LTF-UL. Its empty weight is only 290,7 kg with rescue system !

Ultra Light without giving up anything:
All that have been “packed” in a true JAR VLA aircraft of only 472.5 MTOW: The SILA 450 C that indeed meets the German UL standard.
SILA 450 C is a plane indeed for cruising comfortably and long range (ranges over 1000 Km). Speedy and with a flight trim very stable (SILA 450C is very stable even in presence of turbulence).
The comfort is resulting from the cabin dimensions and from the complete absence of vibrations the stable and precise flight is a characteristic of SILA 450 C as well as every one of the a/c produced by AeroEast. As concerning long range cruising flights it is possible to load and stow luggage up to 50 Kg in the designated space.
Excellent STOL characteristic is however a must! AeroEast designing philosophy is always based on safety and pilot-friendly flight. Drawing and technical solutions allow a very low Vso resulting at least in a very short take off and landing run.
